Loved him! He quizzes almost daily and doesn't collect homework. He really cares about his students and wants you to succeed! He always gives inspirational talks which made me want to do better. He was so helpful by explaining each concept and would make sure your question was answered before he moved on.

I really enjoyed Negash. He is incredibly patient with all his students. He gives quizzes pretty much every class, but they are always reasonable so do your homework before class because there is a 99% chance you'll be quizzed on it. Tests are reasonable and fair. Doesn't collect homework, but again, he quizzes very often instead.

Very good at explaining each concept. As long as you do the homework you'll have no problem in the class. Understanding of difficult circumstances, really tries to help students out. I would absolutely take another one of his classes!

Felt as though it was a waste to go to class. Could barely hear him talk and he didn't answer questions well. Tests were unclear. Would not recommend. This is the only bad review I have ever given to a professor at CCCC.

Definately the best teacher I've ever had. Don't like math much but he taught Calculus 1 without a calculator to make you understand the process thats what he's all about. Real nice guy, fair grader, although still demanding because it's still Calculus.

Great man. Wants you to do well but requires a quiz almost every class and 6 exams. He makes sure everyone's questions are answered, but you really only have questions if you actually did the homework (which he doesn't check) so most people don't do it. I can see how someone might do poorly if they just don't care, but I did care, and got an A.

Clear instructions, ALWAYS willing to help students. If you take his class, always do the homework even though it's optional - helps immensely. No make up quizes (given almost every class) and no make up tests. Great teacher.

He stressed showing work for tests regardless of how easy the question was. Most of the time I would lose points simply because he was asking to easy of questions that required very little to no work. The purpose of showing your work is to show how you are doing it so the teacher can see where you may be going wrong. Not to be 75% of the grade.

This guy was so helpful!! He just wanted you to pass and he would do anything he could to get you to understand even if it meant expaining the same thing 50 times!! You WILL easily pass this class just pay attention!! If you pay attention you don't even need to do your homework. VERY GOOD TEACHER! I wish I still had him for math now!
