DO THE HOMEWORK! His weekly pop quizzes are the exact homework problems. I personally could not follow his teaching as well as others. He can sometimes be demeaning, but I ignored him. I had outside tutoring to do well. Drops your lowest grade. I had F's on all tests, As on homework, and B on final and made a C. So his grading scale is really good.

Best Precalc professor. Very Clear about rules and very likable. However, he gives a pop quiz once a week so attendance is necessary. Also he has awful hand writing, but he explains anything that isn't clear on the board.

006- He knows math very well, therefore taking algebra 1 with him can be a bit much, just because he sometimes goes into unecessary detail but if you ask a question, he will slow down. Also, you get a quiz each week and these quizzes will eventually be another exam grade.

Make sure YOU CAN DO THE HOMEWORK. Literally his quizzes are homework questions. ASK QUESTIONS. He likes to skip important stuff cuz he has high expectations. The tests aren't all that terrible as long as you know the material. Most of the time you'll have to teach yourself. Only the second half semester grades really count towards your grade.

Had him for patterns in math! Used a textbook that cost $5!!! He's a confusing teacher, but somewhat helpful I guess. I rather follow the book. Understood information better reading book myself. ATTENDANCE mandatory though! He gives random pop quizzes ( hw question) easy, but I got lazy towards the end, So I got a B! an A is achievable!

Very simple class to pass. Quizzes are only given on homework questions that he will answer when class starts before the quiz. He will solve any problem you ask. He's smart as ever so he tends to skip steps on accident but will totally go back if you ask. He has no problem solving problems over and over again if you ask.

Had hindman for Calculus 3 and if you attend classes, do your homework, and look over the practice test he post on his website then u should receive an A. Gives a quiz or two at the most each week but they are extremely easy bc he only picks one of the questions from the homework assignments! Received A's B's and C's on the test & still got an A

This guy is crazy, when he is explaining something he skips MAJOR steps that he obviously does in his head, leaving you like WTF?!... attendance isn't mandatory but he gives AT LEAST one pop quiz a week. the way he grades is weird too. Do NOT take his class if you don't have too.

He's one of those people who are too smart for their own good. He is very eccentric and because of that, he does not know how to "dumb" things down. Also with his grading, he grades based on how he feels which really sucks. I have gotten so many points docked because he FELT that I made a dumb mistake. Do not take him!!! Take Prof Chin if you can.

DONT TAKE. I was just stuck in his class after mr goodlett's class got too filled, needless to say, it didnt go well. dude does not explain material well, and acts as if everybody is on some advanced level of math. Not to mention, he looks real bad and snorts a lot (maybe from drugs maybe not).

All his quizzes are from the homework assigend during the week just do the home work well and your guaranteed to get an A in the quiz. Same thing for the exams. the first page is a breeze, the last page same thing. Look out for that second page it's tricky as hell.
