Gives really, really good feedback on papers. Class structured like a workshop and students generally give really good feedback as well. Miller can be a bit awkward but don't let that affect your perception of the class. Will miss this class next semester, would try to take a class with him again.

Super nice guy- a little awkward, but a good class can get past this. He will give you sincere feedback on all your papers, plus the respite of writing for sheer pleasure is priceless.

Prof Miller is a good guy & a fair grader. He knows a lot about writing, but structures the class so that you learn more from the other students than directly from him. Be prepared for honesty from him--if he thinks your paper sucks, he'll let you know. I enjoyed the course, but if you don?t thrive on an awkward atmosphere, you might not.
