Comment:
Professor Georgakopoulos is an outstanding professor. Although he is tends to be on the theoretical side, he is very willing to engage and listen to practical critiques of the material by students. He is extraordinarily respectful of students' ideas and has also done several extremely helpful Cali Lessons on a number of topics. Highly recommend!

Seems to think that repeatedly saying "You don't have to have a business or economics background to understand this class" will magically makes it so. To be honest, I often felt more clear on concepts PRIOR to his teaching them.

Sounds like the Count from Sesame Street. If only he made as much sense as the count. He apparently thinks that rather than explaining the law this should be an economic theory class.

Good luck in trying to understand him, his workbook is not helpful at all, he thinks apparently that all students are economics majors and should just grasp business models and valuations without his assistance. Theory is the name of the game with him.

Bless his heart, he does try but he overestimates his students. If you want blank stares, ask law students to do math -- and include some division or (eek!) exponents. The class could be most improved by constructing a unifying theme. The professor needs to ask, "what do I want them to learn in this course" instead of "what do I teach today?"

Professor thought that we had all had BA I, and was very frustrated when we hadn't. I am dumber for having taken the class, and I actually knew something about it to begin with. Don't waste time taking any classes with him -- you'll learn it all in bar review anyway. AVOID!!!

Comment:
Georgakopoulos is VERY theoretical. He expects a lot of his students and expects them to think beyond what's written on the page. I found that after about 3 weeks of utter frustration I finally "got it." If theory isn't your thing this is not the class for you. However, the exam was straight forward. It was straight from the textbook.

Avoid at all costs. Nothing he teaches is on the bar and he is impossible to understand. He classes are torture to sit through.

He knows his stuff. Good luck getting him to explain it to you. He'll waste class periods trying to get the class to answer questions that need not be addressed. If you sign up for him as an instructor, be prepared to be frustrated.
