One of the best professors to teach at Framingham state. He did everything he could to help you pass his course with a decent grade. He will truly be missed at this school. He knows so much! Even thought his lectures are hard to follow if you went to his office he would clear things up for you. By far my favorite professors at Framingham state!

One of the most amazing persons I have ever had to honor of knowing. He is willing to go above and beyond to help his students, and is probably the most knowledgeable professors who has ever taught at FSU.

This is scheduled to be the last class he ever teaches at FSU. I can only say I'm sorry my arrival at Framingham coincided with his departure as I'd love to take more classes with him. Yes, his lectures can be disjointed and go off on tangents. I'll admit he's not always the easiest to follow, but he's incredibly engaging and really knows his stuff

Considering hes BLIND.. visual learners like myself will sink fast in his class. He literally rambles on about nonsense for the WHOLE class & bases your grade off 4 assignments. I even tried recording his lectures but he is so hard to follow & I'm an A student. Do what you can to avoid this professor. Your GPA will thank you later on.

After reading through all the comments for Prof. Racheotes, I noticed a big thing missing from everyone's comments: he's blind. So, if you're a visual learner, I wouldn't recommend him because all he does is lecture, and he jumps around a lot. He is an amazing teacher, and incredibly smart?possibly too smart to be teaching undergrad courses.

Had him for Comp. Hist of World Civ. Very intelligent man, and very helpful if you visit him in his office. His lectures are incredibly boring as he talks for a straight 2 hours without stopping. His teaching method leaves you feeling like you learned nothing but he is an incredibly easy grader on papers.

Racheotes is incredible. He expects his students to learn a lot of in-depth information about the subject matter. Always happy to meet after class for discussion. Though preparation for his tests requires more effort than other classes, the tests themselves are not too difficult. If I could, I would take every class he teaches. Amazing professor.

Very intelligent, but almost too intelligent to pass that intelligence on to students. Rambles for 2 hours straight with no break. His test questions are extremely ambiguous and difficult. It is possible to receive a decent grade, but it is not an enjoyable class to sit through or do work for.

I took his comparative history of world civilizations class. He is a brilliant man but will make you work for your grade. You have to go to classes and pay attention, not just serf the internet. I found that if you paid attention in class the book was rather redundant and not very necessary. His syllabus is very confusing.

i took comparative cultures for a requirement. He is hard to follow on lectures but if you bring a recorder its easy cause he tells you all you need to know. test questions are hard if your not good at looking at the big pictureHe will give you any extra time outside of class to talk so all in all work hard show some interest and you will do fine

His notes are hard to follow because he just reads from a big book, without emphasizing key points. He also jumps around a lot so it is hard to figure out what is important. His test questions are extremely difficult. I would not recommend this class.

I found him to be a really hard teacher, his classes are all lectures and he tends to jump from topic to topic. I'm definately more of a visual learner, and because I have never found the subject interseting, I had a lot of trouble with his teaching techniques.

I took him for world civilization since the renaissance and thought he was a great guy! He is so nice and he tries to make the class as interesting as it can be being that it is a history class. The tests are hard but there are only 2 all semester and you have to write a couple papers. He is very helpful and knows what he is talking about.

He is very boring and not clear on any of the team requirements. Since he is not clear on the assiagnment, he scores very poorly. Even if you do not do anything he gives you credit. If your work your butt of you get only an extra 1/2 credit. Grading is terrible.
