Nick is a wonderful person, but can often be too busy for the student's good. He knows his stuff, but can easily rush through material leaving students behind. This is why his wonderful choices for TAs are so important. Do your homework on time and meet with the TAs regularly to do well in his courses.

Dr. Hernandez is one of the kindest professors you'll ever have. However, I don't care for his teaching method as well .. he just assigns homework and goes over it in class. You can get an A in his class withot really learning anything.

Wierd way of teaching. He does not really teach. He just assigns homework and goes over it. If you can learn things by yourself through a book you will be OK but if you need someone to tell you every little thing , good luck. Very nice guy.

He was never in his office during his marked office hours. He was hard to understand and cocky. He refused to sign a paper I needed signed to graduate. I had to go to the language head to have it signed. He is bad as a person and as a teacher.

nick is a wonderful person, really nice man. i speak spanish fluently and somehow ended up with a B- in the class. He's not very clear nor does he follow a lesson plan. His class can be boring.

he dosen't break down the spanish at the lower levels. and for us who have lost most of our spanish it is hard to pick it up when you don't teach us the vocab.
