You either love her or hate her. If you can't handle a bruised ego, this is not for you my apple polishing, grade-seeking friend. She's here to teach, not to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Take her criticism, don't whine about it. Professors shouldnt have to make you feel warm and fuzzy. They should engage, teach, and toughen you up, and that's her.

These other reviewers apparently don't jive well with genuine scholarship. Denzey was hands-down the best professor I've ever had. Thoroughly professional, eminently knowledgeable in her field, and with a sense of humor. A+.

Comment:

Great and interesting teacher, but can be a bit pretentious sometimes. She was a very easy grader as long as you showed a lot of effort, interest, and commitment. Not very good at understanding personal situations though, such as tardiness and late assignments, so watch out for that and you'll have a great experience in her class.

Loved it! She is one of the smartest people I've ever had teaching me before--the amount you'll learn from her is incredible. I don't know that I understand the "mocking" complaints; she is teaching at a high-caliber school and has high-caliber expectations. You can't b.s. her. Just be prepared to work hard.
