The class is hard, but he's so brilliant and passionate that he makes it fun. I've never seen anyone so happy to be teaching distributed algorithms. His assignments were hard, the midterm was not too bad - his book is great, study it for the test. Attendance is not required, but you'll learn so much from him if you go. Overall, amazing professor!

He's the best teacher I have ever had the privilege of studying with. His enthusiasm is infectious and his intelligence and clarity helped in making this tough course bearable. Even though his assignments were tough, his midterms were fair.
