Dr. Tomczak-Jaegermann is a wonderful professor in my opinion. I totally understand why many students think she is bad. She does have accent, but she tries really hard to explain everything well. Her homework is decent and helpful. For those who failed her Math 114 course, it's totally your fault because you didn't try as hard as you should.

She''s terrible. She writes her notes before class in illegible writing and then tries to re-decipher them while attempting to teach us the information. If you bring up that one of her answers may be wrong she waits till it''s too late to answer it or just forgets. Time to stop teaching you have lost 95 of your students. If you get her swap out

This prof was terrible. Get out of her class as soon as you can. She talks to herself at the front of the class and just spends the entire class rewriting the textbook on the board in illegible print. Her accent is very thick and the midterm was VERY hard (class average of 54%). Taking her class will require you to teach yourself the entire course.

I'm a first year student who loves math and did really well in all through high school math classes. But I had no interest in teaching myself, her accent makes her extremely difficult to understand. If you miss a class the lecture notes are photocopies of her bad hand-writen ones. Switch out if you can, I just did!

Don't bother. Worst class I've ever suffered through. She talks to the board with a thick incomprehendable accent, has illegible writing, and has confusing and unorganized notes. Exams make you want to cry. She knows her math but not much about teaching. Unless you plan to teach Calculus to yourself (not recommended), stay away.

Get out of her class! She is bad! She has a heavy accent and talks very quite and her notes are crap and the textbook doesn't really help. I struggled with her class and failed the midterm. If you don't know anything in her class you will fail. drop that class and take another math course even if its in the spring. I did that and it was so worth it

She is so boring and has an accent that is hard to understand. Her writing is very messy. I ended up withdrawing from this class. What a waste of $500. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. Calculus is boring without her making it absolutely unbearable. I was good at calculus until now... Again: DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS

She is very monotone and boring (so the class does drag on), but she does explain everything in detail, so she's not the worst professor for math (better than Mineva). The quizzes aren't hard either as long as you do the drill problems; she tends to ask the harder questions, but as long as you're good in math, you'll get 9 or 10 out of 10.
