I took this class a few years ago with Niel. It was one of the toughest class I have taken. Niel basically just write on the blackboard non-stop for the entire class. Therefore not much teacher-student interaction there. I heard he is still the same today

Generally a good class to take. Complements other physical science coursework really well - astronomy, earth science, etc. Plus he's REALLY good looking!

Mr. Balmforth was a good experience. His lectures are entertaining and interesting --- he makes frequent jokes without going off-topic. My only complaint is that the course was quite easy. Assignments were average, but the curve was deep.
