Very knowledge professor, but very dull and boring. He knows what he;s talking about, but doesn't present it effectively. If I could stay awake in class, I'm sure I would learn a lot more than just from the textbook readings.

McHugh is a good prof; vast knowledge and personal experience in Africa. Class can be borning, but only because it is a 70 minute class. He uses videos and maps to break it up. Lots of reading and writing but I learned a ton in this class. I would take another class of his if it fit my schedule.

Very boring and dull. Lectures are long and drawn out. I'm sure hes a nice guy just not a good teacher, knows his stuff, its just not a enjoyable class to be in.

Professor McHugh is extremely knowledgable in the subject matter with personal experiences to supplement his lecutres. Granted lectures can become a bit winded, but that is when the class fails to contribute with discussion. Great class - Great Prof.

I really enjoyed this class. Not only was the teacher knowledgable but also interesting and fun to be around. The books for the class werent so hot, but the fun lectures made up for it. And, Man Alive, is Dr. McHugh good looking!
