Professor Rauhut is a great philosophical mind. He wrote the textbook needed for class. Not too tough on homework or reading but quizzes and tests are extensive. He WILL challenge your views and get you to have logic behind them. Very friendly guy, most classes were group discussions.

So this dude is the best professor I've had in my three years at CCU. He knows his stuff, and will really challenge you to think. Dr. Rauhut WANTS you to learn, and actually cares! Not something I could say for all of them.

Rauhut is a pretty cool professor! I took him for a special section of the course, so ours was set up a little different than usual. Overall, you write a LOT of essays, but he isn't tough on the grading. Also, he is pretty open-minded to everyone's opinion which is always nice in philosophy! Overall, he is definitely worth taking at least once!

Nils is Go. By far the best value for your money at CCU. He will challenge you to think. He is great at building personal relationships and adapting class for the students needs. Attendance is not mandatory but if you miss you will be behind, sticks to the syllabus. Wish I had found him sooner, would have def been my choice for PHIL 101.

He is a brilliant teacher! Knows his stuff. His tests may seem hard, but with some effort and his help they begin to look a bit easier. If you have questions he's an easy guy to talk to. A little sarcastic sometimes, but it is all in good fun.

This is my second time taking this professor. Took him once before for introduction to philosophy. He is an amazing teacher and extremely smart. He is there to help and knows what he is talking about. I am not saying this class was a breeze but if you want to learn and dont mind going to class he is the guy to take. I would take him again.

He doesn't see the world outside of philosphy. He seems so removed from "normal thinking." He can, also, be a little rude.
