Easiest teacher ever. So sweet and caring. We had 4 short quizzes, 2 midterms and a final. He curved both the midterms. All quizzes are open book. Really easy class.

Stats I is a difficult subject. DeGuzman teaches the subject pretty straightforward, but gives only easy examples and simple problems. This makes his open note quizzes really easy, but his midterm and final have very hard problems and are SUPER hard. Study a lot. Do problems from the book to study.

Gives good notes and works slowly. All quizzes are open notes/book. However, the midterm and final are 40% of your final grade...and those are not open book/notes. Class is easy, just make sure you study well for the midterm and final. (He does curve those exams if a majority of the class does poorly)

He's a good teacher and the class is not hard at all. No attendance policy and no homework, just 4 quizzes and 3 exams. Quizzes are all open notes. The exams are harder but if you study you should be fine. He does curve them if he has to. There are easier teachers but he's not bad at all.
