One of the nicest and most genuine professors at the college. Goes out of her way to help you understand the material. The tests and assignments are very fair and she is very upfront about her expectations. This is a fairly easy class, but you definitely learn the material well.

Very nice and helpful if you visit during office hours, or after class. While her lectures can be sometimes boring, she explains concepts very well. Not a lot of graded work for the course, so you need to do well on the few problem sets there are, but she always gives you plenty of time to complete them.

yes, she's boring and she speaks really slowly. but she's quite clear and her problem sets are fine. she's very available in office, and she gives useful advice. her handouts really help with understanding the materials. don't expect too much from an intro micro course, since they're all boring. nola already does a good job.

Nola is an excellent teacher! She has great handwriting (unlike some other econ profs) and is very approachable during office hours. I definitely recommend her, though her lectures can be a little boring at times.

She was really boring and I found her to be rude. When I tried to apply Marxian theory to something we were learning, she brushed me off and I had even waited until after class was over. She made me feel stupid and like I really didn't belong since I was a declared Sociology major. She's always late coming to and releasing class. Overall: BAD!

Nola is really boring, but really helpful. If you need help she will help you. She just has this really boring approach to her teaching, but its okay, you won't die, you'll just be really bored.

Nola is especially helpful and sets up extra office hours if necessary. Her lectures were very informative and helpful. The bad thing is that 55% of the entire grade is stuff due in the last two weeks of class...kinda messes things up if you suddenly get sick or have a bad day.

Not entirely scintillating, but the material's pretty dry. Still, she's super sweet, friendly, clear and patient. Highly recommended. And the way she pokes fun at her teeny-bopper daughters is hilarious.
