He's great! he goes over the concepts in ways people with out a good science background can understand. the hard concepts he will go over again if it looks like the class isnt understanding them fully. he uses good review sheets before each test and he ALWAYS helps you whenever you need it!

Took him a couple semesters ago for Chem 1010 and 1020. I didn't realize until taking advanced bio this semester how difficult the concepts he was teaching us were. He broke very complex ideas down and made them incredibly easy to understand. He was very helpful and cared a lot about the success of his students. His exams were easy. Def rec'd.

Kurnath is one of the BEST Chemisrty Profs I've ever had. I had him Chem 101 Principals and then a year later I had him for Organic. He was very Thorough and well prepared for his Lectures. I can say this with confidence because I went on to obtain a Degree In Pharmacy, much in part DUE to have a teacher like Dr Kurnath....that's been OVER 26 years

I took Chemistry 1020 with Mr. Lechko over the summer and dropped it because I couldn't understand him. Now I'm taking the same class with Dr. Kurnath and what a difference!!! Everything makes so much more sense. I just got a high B on my 1st exam.

I took organic chem from him last year. He's a great prof. His exams are straight forward and follows his study guides pretty closely. Chem 1020 is a tough class, but he makes it less intimidating and I learned a lot. I highly recommend him.
