Took both freshman comp semesters with her; she's good. More fun/clear than Atherton, less fun/clear than Bingham. None of the three are hard--you can write papers for any of them the night before and get an A if you're a good writer. This site draws a lot of idiots who are mad about the Gordon Rule, but that's true for all the English teachers.

Her classes were some of my favorite, mainly because I enjoyed the subject matter. I especially enjoyed the Prologue of the Canterbury Tales that she read us in Old English. Very interesting.

Mrs. thayer is a nice teacher but kind of ditsy and grades so hard in her english lit class. Don't take it unless you want to work your fingers to nubs, and stay up all night studying for her tests only to fail them anyway. your only hope is xtra credit
