Honestly, I didn't do so hot in his class. I had a hard time understanding things, I just got confused. But the awesome thing about his class is he is there to help you. If it wasn't for me using him for help I wouldn't have passed. And he has end of the semester kinda party and it's so much fun :)

Norm is the greatest professor at Clarke! His class is not easy as he fully expects you to come prepared for class but if you show up, read before class, & participate you will do just fine! He is really into his work & will work hard to make sure you enjoy the class. I completely dreaded the class at the beginning but now minoring in Philosophy!

Norm is a great guy, obviously knows his subject matter and loves it, and is excited about sharing it with others. Be prepared for a bit of writers' cramp on his exams, though.

Norm is so awesome. Using a novel (Sophie's World) to teach philosophy? Best idea ever. He dressed up as major philosophers in the book...best class ever.

Who doesn't want a professor who dresses up like Socrates? He's one of the BEST professors at Clarke. I'm not a Philosophy major/minor, but he helped me figure out my program eval twice. Once in Intro and again when I took Sex & Love (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CLASS!) He's always spicing things up. You'll learn about the history of Clarke.
