Mr.Samuelson as a teacher was my favorite of all. I have BS in Electrical Engineering and MS in Computer Engineering. All you had to do in his class was take notes and put in the time and unless chemistry just isn't for you, you would do well. Mr. Samuelson, once talked to me and gave his honest opinion of what I needed to improve upon.

Ohh my god! This man talks so much. I overall hated this class, but the other chem teacher didnt speak english, so I picked Norm. He just stressed me out. The tests were crazy hard. Like 10 chapters in 1. He does go over the same thing a ton of times. Then the stuff on the test will be things we didnt learn. Ehh. Im just glad I got a C!

This guy talks way too much. Goes over every little detail of every little thing so much so that the material itself is lost because you stop paying attention. He drives home the point of nonsense over and over. He changes his mind about things that should be set in stone and is an absolute bore to listen to. Avoid him.

Mr. Sameulson was the best teacher i have ever had. I took him in 2001. He guided me and helped me all the way through my undergrad at Wayne State University. I think anyone who ****es about him needs to reconsider their responsibilities as a student: show up to class, study the material, and try your best. All i can say : lazy lazy lazy students

Prof Samuelson was our substitute professor for four weeks. He was MUCH more clear that the actual professor for the class. Everyone wished he would come back. He is a very traditional teacher - assigns lecture, homework, test. Easy going and helpful in lab.

This teacher is very hard! He expects you to know what he talks about off the bat. You NEED to show up just to keep on track. You get credit for showing up for lab. Lecture is your choice to show up or not. He is a very nice guy. My semester was horrible because of his class I stressed out so bad and got to the point where I gave up.

Terrible teacher. Very reluctant to answer questions that he felt should have been answered in elementary chem. He suggested that anyone that didn't understand the material during lecture should seek the help of a tutor rather than ask him any questions.

Very into the topic but doesn't follow the book. Don't miss a class or you will regret it (find a friend to get notes from should you miss). You really need to study hard to do well on the tests or you'll regret it. Lot's of homework; make sure you have plenty of out of class time.

A Jerk?? A D??? Some of my colleagues just don't get it.. They think if they come to class they deserve an "A". Mr. Samuelson is the greatest. He knows his subject and he goes to great lengths to help students and explain the complicated scientific principles of chemistry.

WHAT A JERK. I have never had such problems with ANY teacher. This man has some major control issues. He WILL NOT answer questions. He treated our class like we were kindergardeners! He would be somewhat kind one day, and a total ass the next. Personality was very unpredictable. Not a difficult class, I got an A, Samuelson just sucks.

Take good notes, and don't even dare miss a day of class. You will regret missing. He gives you a lot of information to grasp. The homework is not usually what is on the tests. Study your notes and memorize everything from your notes.

He tends to assume that you know what he is talking about. If you don't he can get a little testy when asked questions. But, after class he is very helpful and will go into more detail if needed.
