great professor. he is very intelligent and gives very interesting lectures. tests are essay but not all that hard if you take good notes, reading the textbook isnt necessary to pass his class if you take very good notes. he may seem like a mean old man at first, but dont be put off, he is very nice. i regret that i cant take more classes with him.

I took him for death & dying. At first, I thought he was going to be a mean old man. But let me tell you, he is THE BEST professor I ever had! He really knows his material and his teaching style is by far the best! His tests are essays and he doesn't like making you write papers. He is awesome. Take him if you ever get a chance to!

At first I thought this class was going to suck. He came in with such an attitude I thought I was done for. By the time the semester was over though, I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Big Norm encourages class participation as well as gives interesting lectures. He does talk in Hebrew alot though..

Best professor I've ever had, his class was so interesting that I looked forward to going to it. The only negative side is that all the tests are essay form, but they aren't impossible to pass.

He is a very nice professor. I enjoyed his classes. I got an "A" but what goes for tests is essays, but he gives you like 8 questions and you have to answer 5. Just read the book before exam and you will get a good grade. Like I said, very nice man.
