This is an online class and I loved it. I also took his ACC 2280 class and got an A. You have to do the connect sessions and the material will be easier to understand. I really learned in this class. He tells you exactly what to study for the test, homework may seem a bit too much but it is all worth it at the end

Mr. Bishop is definitely the best professor there is. He makes your life much easier by going 100% digital for homework and quizzes. He is very willing to help, no matter what time you email/message him via Skype. The only reason I got a C is because I slacked off and completely failed my second exam. I HIGHLY encourage people to take him!

OMG Hardest class of my entire life seriously. If you are a mass comm major do not take his intro to accounting class you will more than likely fail. Its extremely difficult. he is not a bad teacher, and I think it would be unfair to call any teacher who has to deal with immature UNCP students bad. Pay attention and get a study budy for this one!

Do your freaking homework.If you don't pass/turn in 80% you fail the course regardless of other grades. He is a pretty funny guy but also by the book.He loves cats and shows cats which freaks me out! Go to class, do the hw. and you will be fine! Very difficult to communicate with outside of class. Resolve all of your issues in the classroom!!!!

First of all, I would like to say that Professor Bishop is an excellent professor (that is, if the reason you are attending college is to learn). Mr. Bishop is a wonderful instructor. We did all of our accounting problems on the computer on Excel. He cut the hassle out of everything, and. Has strict attendance policy, so show up on time! The only downside was the fact that we had saturday testing, and mr. bishop didn't make the test. Other than that he was great!

Spare yourself the trouble! Do NOT take his class, take anyone else but him. His policies are heinous & unjust. The lectures are unclear and dull. You are expected to complete the homework assignments without any explinations or help. The exams are on SATURDAYS!!! Need I say more!
