Professor Ozocak has been at Brock for many years, so he knows what he's doing. He explains concepts very articulately and is very knowledgeable. Great prof. I will be looking for him when I'm taking FNCE 3P93!

I found his lectures to be amazing. He makes sure EVERYONE in the class understands concepts before moving on, he is a super nice guy! He gives great midterm reviews that cover basically everything, and he really cares about his students. I would definitely take him again. Only thing I dislike is he's hard to reach- he NEVER answers e-mails!

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. He really cares about making sure his students understand, and he is a fair grader. He is clearly passionate about Finance and goes through many examples with us to make sure we understand everything! He is encouraging too and the lectures are very useful!! Hard class but he helps

He is an excellent prof. He teaches everything with examples and makes sure students understand it. He repeats the same question again if he doesn't get good response from the class. His exams are not hard if you actually study for the course.

The conceptualintellectual aspect is what makes this course tough, not the math. Onem lectures by walking you through how to perform the calculation for a particular question which can be hard to transfer to other questions. I would definitely not recommend him over Hoover, however I found him highly comical

Prof Ozocak is an average prof, he is very knowledgeable and is ready to answer questions. Before moving onto new topics he tries to tease out any concerns many shy students have. By no means is he an interesting prof, more of a get-in and get-out kind of guy. You want to do great in his class? Complete all hard questions in the textbook.

If you are naturally good at math he's fine but I am not. He doesn't actually teach how to do the work but just flies through the slides and expects you to be able to do the hardest questions. He doesn't start easy and then go to harder questions, he just starts with the hard stuff.

Useless professor. No point in attending lectures. The different textbook he uses is FILLED with errors so much so that it makes it difficult to learn. DOESN'T respond to emails so you'll never actually get any clarification on the many errors in the textbook.

Onem read from his powerpoint presentations and didn't add value in attending classes. He taught one out of four finance sections - and made his students buy a completely new textbook and add on. He didn't prepare his students for the midterm or exam. Very knowledgeable, but not the best teacher. Overall, disappointed with the class.

I found Prof Ozocak to be very unhelpful. This was his first time teaching this course, and it showed! All he did was read off the power point and put up the end of ch. solutions and read them out to us. He also would not respond to a single email or help me outside of class at all. Very disappointing.

He is a tough prof, I will grant you that. But if you work hard and do 75% of the chapter practice problems and 100% of the problems (With full solution attached!) you will get at least an 80% in this course. He really wants you to understand the problems and does tons of practice in class, and all those questions of similar format are on the exam

I did alright in the class, but if you are a male, you are alone in this class. He only helps the chicks out. I went to his office for help and he didn't do anything for me, just wanted me out of his office as fast as possible...wanted to make room for the ladies.

Not a bad prof, I would say that he is fair. There are definitly some language barriers with this guy but he seems to try his best to help his students. He seems to get frustrated when students don't understand concepts right away. Other than that I'd say hes an alright prof. If you get him for a professor you're pretty much on you own.

Onem for President. Always willing to meet students outside of class and help them work through problems. I was affraid of Finance but Onem got me through it, and turns out his classes performed pretty well on hard midterms (did not give any hints either). Too bad he doesn't teach 3rd year. The girls dig this guy like a weedy garden.
