Professor is hard to understand, but, he does give worksheets. The commons have everything from these worksheets. It's easy to get an A if you make sure you listen to him while he discusses those worksheets

He was my recitation professor for Physics 1. The first day the entire classroom of 30-35 kids was full; by the end of the semester only 10 showed up. He would stare at us until we figured out the problem, even though we didn't know how to do it. The only saving grace is the review sheets (Money sheets) for the exams

Comment:

Pretty boring during lecture, doesn't really go over the material well. However, he does know what he is talking about and will explain in detail during office hours. He gave out study guides that were pretty relevant to the exams, you have to ask for them though. Just be kind, have patience, and study by yourself.

He was not clear in explaining. Very slow. He assumed everyone already knew what he was talking about, which was his biggest flaw. He would shame those who didn't understand.

One of the worst physics teacher at NJIT, he's probably THE worst though. He shakes when he writes so sometimes it's hard to read his writing, but this isn't a major issue. The biggest problem is that he just talks physics without explaining physics. He basically expects you to know everything before you enter the class. If you take his class, GL.

doesnt want to do attendance at all so its not mandatory. if you dont go to class however youll fail classroom problems are completely different from the online HWs If you find online hw solution PDF then GG EZ class otherwise see you again next semester-Russo legit;study hard for the exams each have 16 questions open ended with 2 extra credit

Thank god I had physics in High School. He is an old man who had the professor that wrote the book and often complains that the way he learned it was the right way and the fact that the textbook is all rearranged now is wrong. Dont take him if you have never had physics, you will be behind and he is also no help with the mastering physics homework.

He is one of the worst professors I've ever had. If you are not planning on teaching yourself, do NOT take this course. If you have to, I highly recommend learning alongside with an online course like khanacademy or something. He takes forever to go over a problem in class, and every class is spent working on 2 or 3 problems. You were warned.

He wants you to understand core concepts of physics. If you lack interest he won't like you. He wants every student to shine. His patience is always changing so hope for the worst. He has no sense of time because we only manage to get through one or two problems during class even though they "have everything you need to learn in the chapter"

Whether you come into his class or not, it won't make a difference. He's going to start a lecture and stops in the middle because he expects you to know everything from the start. If you have take physics before, you're fine I guess, but if you're new to physics, don't take his class. He's the worst professor I've taken

Terrible Old Man, There isn't anything else to say about the Dinosaur at NJIT. He makes Stalin look like god, and doesn't even teach. If you do take this really bad class, I recommend 1 thing. Make sure you have another physics teacher whose classes you can attend. You will learn nothing from him and that is the only way you can pass.

I wish if I checked this web before I took him. Yes, everyone is right: DON’T TAKE HIM. Everybody I know failed (at least 4 people I know in a class of 14). I only got a C because I did well in the 1st and 2nd tests but in the final he gave us a 9 pages exam, each page needs at least 40min to finish. I learned nothing except how great is CalTech.

Whatever you do, don't take this guy. Though it was only a freshman level course, he expected everyone to know everything. Those that actually passed his class ended up passing with a low grade or just knew physics from previous knowledge. Sucks at teaching, has no interest whatsoever, doesn't help anyone. Likes to talk with his back facing you.
