He gets a little off track sometimes, which can be irritating, but he knows so much and has a lot of fun with audio, so he's pretty good overall. He seems to remember what it was like being an Emerson student, too, and he's generally pretty lax about deadlines; take what you will from that information...

Comment:

One of the best teachers at Emerson. He is very knowledgable and very willing to help if you have a problem. Plus his method of teaching is laid back and hands on. You really learn the Mackie console and Protools inside out. I totally would recommend him to anyone!!

His Intro to Audio Prod class is mainly based on Pro Tools and the Mackie 32x8. Same with his Studo Rec class. Except with the latter, bands come in and you get the experience you need to get that first intern job. Extremely knowledgeable and answers your questions without hesitation

Owen is down to earth and gets the job done. You have a question he answers it. He doesn't have the flare that most Emerson teachers have, but it is refreshing to atleast in one class get staright answers here.
