One of the last classical geologist. Has an intuitive understanding of the world that most professors can't convey to students.

Maybe I wasn't the best college freshman student but I almost switched majors after Intro Geo. Not dynamic at all and once he has a pre-concieved notion about you, you are done. Sec Ed. Earth Sci majors mean nothing to him. Nice guy after you show you are a good student. Would have like to go on the glacier trip. He is the anti- Bischoff

Professor Fleisher is a very nice guy but that just doesn't cut it. Lecture consists of him writing and drawing on the white board while speaking in a voice that no one can hear. Most of the time it's hard to understand what hes talking about or exactly what hes drawing. No homework but hard tests. Read the textbook if you want to pass.

His lecture classes are just him facing the white board where you kinda can hear his muffled voice murmuring something about glaciers. His tests are extremely hard, because everything you study never appears on them. The question are really random. He's nice, but his tests kill you

Fleisher is one of the worse teachers in the science department, he puts all his notes on baby post-its and expects you to know everything. I guess if you are a science major you might enjoy him but for the rest of you STAY CLEAR! he will sneak up on you in lab and ask you "do you see the grain size?"

well, his class isn't the easiest to sit through and u want to sleep, but all of his notes are what the tests are on. If u pay attention (which granted isn't east) you will do well on the tests. Do the practice exams he gives out too- they help a lot.

This was an interesting class if I could have actually learned something. This teacher is hard and doesn't care for your effort. He expects you to know everything for the tests. He knows his stuff but would probably prefer working on his glaciers rather then teach his classes. P.S. Dont sleep in class he throws stuff at you!

This guy is a terrible professor who loves rocks. His tests are way too difficult for the level that the class is designed to be, he writes random words on the board, and expects you to know tons and tons of information for the tests. DO NOT take this class if you are just trying to meet the NL2 attribute because you will deeply regret it!

Yet another amazing professor in OSC's Geology department. He knows his stuff, and while at times it isn't always the most interesting, he is a very kind-hearted and helpful man. I look forward to taking more classes with him in the future.

Fine professor. He gives practice exams that have questions that are so hard, turns out that hardest ones aren't in the test. Since you take verbal notes, I recommend looking in the textbook if you don't understand it. He is WAY better than Muller.

Don't take an early morning class with this guy! Go in and talk to him about review questions. His tests are hard. He's good at heart, but just a little too old. TA for labs is real easy..gives you answers.
