Comment:

Pablo is super nice, helpful, passionate, and insightful. He teaches this course with a historical focus. I like that he not only cares about ethnic studies and people of color, but also that he emphasizes survival and resistance rather than powerlessness and victimization. It's an easy class and discussions always depend on students.

The best ever. Ever. Ever. I loved this class and everything about it. The only disappointment for me is that the semester is ending. The readings were especially wonderful.

Maybe a bit overrated but I had him in 2002 or 2003 so he was new then... Cool subject-matter, comes off a bit de jour or something with his concepts, but this is what academia is about... Take his course for sure. Mine was a big lecture, go for the seminar.

Really nice and sweet, but sometimes would say things with little backing. His lectures were entertaining, but often he wouldn't answer questions which were asked. I felt a bit dissapointed by the course overall.

This class is interesting, but I feel like it could be moreso. Worthless lectures, as all quizzes are on readings, and he tends to shout. Easy writing assignments. Overall, Pablo is a really nice guy, and the class is worth taking.
