She's a good teacher and her classes are enjoyable. The tests are all online and she gives you like a week to complete them and they aren't insanely difficult but I would say you should study some before taking them because they are long so it's hard to have enough time to use the book.

Dr. Kidder-Ashley is one of the best professors in the psych department I've ever had. Her lectures are interesting and engaging. She took random attendance throughout the semester, but it was in the form of an activity that helped us understand material. She has a soft, sweet personality and will help you achieve the most out of her class.

Dr. Kidder-Ashley is so energetic! She is very passionate about school psychology and education in general. All the tests are online and there are few assignments. I learned a lot from educational psych and would definitely take it again!

Dr. KA is a great professor. Sometimes you can get off topic and have to catch up outside of class but if you study for the tests you will do fine! Would take her again! Truly has a passion for teaching and loves what she does!

Dr. Kidder-Ashley is the sweetest professor and it's very clear she cares a lot about her students. Her lectures were super interesting because she has a lot of experience with different disorders. If you show up to class and participate she will try to help you anyway she can. Tests are online and really aren't hard if you pay attention in class.

Comment:
Dr. Kidder-Ashley is a very nice woman and has good intentions, but the class was kind of a mess sometimes. She would go off on tangents that were barely related to class material, and as a result, we would get behind. As a result, we had to watch lectures outside of class. The tests can be kind of hard but are easy once you get used to them.

Talks wayyyy too much, goes off on tangents, and some days we finished 4 slides at most. Then, she does not delete information off the test we don't cover she posts videos for us to watch and expects us to learn on our own. TESTS ARE HARD! She uses conceptual questions and they are ambiguous! With notes, book, study guide, and google I made a 68...

Dr. Kidder-Ashley made psychology not boring. She is very enthusiastic about what she does, and it is very contagious. Her tests were not a walk in the park, but she challenged us to be better teachers.

If you show up to classes and take notes and pay attention to the lectures, you will pass. Attendance isn't taken, but she will have some in-class assignments that she'll give credit for and so if you're not there, you don't get the grade. Tests are online and there are four "papers" but none of them will take more than an hour. An easy class.

Dr. Kidder-Ashley is a sweet lady, who knows a lot about psychology. However, her lectures are drawn out and slow. If you like a fast pace this class is not for you. She will also give a lot of irrelevant examples that will just get you side tracked and confused. The tests do not relate back to the lecture most of the time making them hard to pass.

Dr. Kidder-Ashley is a great professor, tells you exactly what you need to do to pass the class and enjoy the ride. All her info is based on the most recent research, so you won't get an BS educational theory in there.

This class is a little boring but simple and crystal clear. I learned tons and she tells you exactly what to expect on tests. She also tells you what she wants on all assignments and sends out reminders just in case. This class comes with a field experience worth no credit but I had a great time. The f.e. was sprung on me though.

Not a bad class. Kind of boring, but manageable. I went to about half the classes and made a B+ in the class. Not that interesting, but a fairly easy grade.

Tests do not make sense. I have been to every class, and have not made about an 80 on ANY test. Does offer extra credit, I don't know that it really helps the grade? She's amusing and seems nice and all, I just can't grasp her tests-- that's even with the cheat sheet she lets us have.

Can you say boring lecture? This had to be one of the most boring classes I have ever had to sit though. The teacher lectures on and on about things that aren?t even on the test. If you can find another teacher to take this class with then I suggest you do so. Or take her at one of the cohorts off campus where she gives them more time on test.

She is a very nice lady in general and knows her material but the tests are ridiculously difficult. No matter how much I studied for her test, I still failed. Tests are based solely on applying material and not so much on the actual meaning of the topics covered. She is rarely available to talk with students and refers you to her TA.

This class has done nothing but frustrate me. She teaches like her class is the only one you have, esp. because the tests are so hard and you have to spend a ridiculous amount of time studying. No matter how hard I studied, I made horrible grades. AND, you have to talk to her TA for help b/c she's always unavailable. Just a big frustration.
