Mme. Park is an exemplary professor that really cares about the success of her students. She is thorough with the subject matter, and expects the most out of her students. She teaches to the exams, she explains the required information, and most importantly, she urges you to practice and learn the information. She is a really incredible professor.

Comment:
Bad class. I got a D on every exam. But when I took a separate exam to test out of 2 semesters worth of french(including one semester I haven't even taken yet) I only missed it by 7 points. Not to mention she gave me an F on the last oral exam when I spoke better than the person sitting next to me. I find all of this very strange.

Don't take this class. I would have loved to do all of the homework except she did not organize and assign it properly I was doing problems that she didn't assign in moodle but assigned in the online book and not doing assignments she assigned on moodle but not assigned in the online book. I once spent 8 hours looking for 1 homework assignment.

This class was horrible. The online assignments were not properly assigned ever. I once spent 8 hours looking for one homework assignment because she gave us a title but no page number. This problem continued until the last homework assignment of the semester. Don't take her class. Her lack of computer knowledge will affect your grade poorly.

I took French from Professor Parks and I loved it. Yes, she gives a LOT of homework. I hated the online component of Quia but there are loopholes which make it trivial. If you are taking French because you just want to get through a language, consider a different language/professor. If you are taking French because you love language, go with Parks.

She can talk french but cannot explain the language very well. She talks french basically all the time and doesn't translate even your first week of class....not very helpful for learning a language.

I had classmates who said what some of the rest here have said, but I disagree heartily. Her class was difficult, she kinda piles on the work, but *I* found that if you go to her office to ask for help, Mme Park will do anything/everything to help. I believe I am a better student of French due to her teaching and her help. Merci Madame!

She is the most worthless professor I've ever had. She can't complete a thought, is EXTREMELY unorganized, is mean, unhelpful, and scatter-brained. The class is offered 4 times a week and she gives you enough work to do for 10 classes and then can't understand why her students struggle to keep up.
