Pat's a decent teacher. Kinda boring at times but she did have a fair enough knowledge in HTML. You will learn but a lot of it is self taught. Overall not too bad.

She is very easy going, and the class is simple. We had minimal work, especially for a grad class. She really doesn't teach much and does make everyone do presentations which is not very conducive to learning what needs to be learned. Easy class, you can learn a lot, but it has to come on your own time by using the book.

P. Byerly was a very difficult teacher. Her style of teaching was very lapse. She did not handle questions well. The class was powerpoint pres. from each student instead of her teaching. She chimed in on the presentations but unless we asked questions,she did not teach any more than what the presentation covered. Very poor format at a college level

First, let's get it straight- she does not teach! You and your peers will give presentations each class in place of her doing anything. She flat out did not answer many questions. She is also very unsympathetic about the 'real world' affecting your ability to do assignments,etc. (yes, I'm an adult student) If you'll have her pick another section!

Was suppose to be a basic Office 2007 class, for a 8 week course. She expected you to learn everything about Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access each section in one week (7days). This was by no means a basic class, and not friendly to a Macintosh user, which alot of people have now.

She is an unfair teacher. She will look for something if she doesn't like you. I am a A student, and she failed me due to a simple mistake. Her communications skills really lack in comparison. Cost my family $2000! Her people skills are far from desired. As a online teacher she needs to brush up on working with people virtually.

Professor Byerly is an ok teacher. She however really needs to work on her own communicatoin skills.I have experiened her first hand acting rude and short to student that were older thatn she. i too agree that 200 questions is ridiculous.
