I didn't have a class w/ Pat, but she was my advisor for Women & Gender Studies. During this time, I noticed at first that she was quite helpful & very attentive. Down the road, she became rude & seemed to carry an attitude 4 whatever reason. I've since heard that she's retiring & I will say that I'm quite glad she is for other students' sake.

She is a very intelligent woman. She is also an incredibly vindictive and biased person. Her political and personal feelings make it impossible for anyone who is not either a shrinking violet or rabidly on her side to make anything better than a C (with A effort). Shared my opinions and got slammed for it. Never will have her as a teacher again.

Horrible teacher. She is extremely subjective in her discussion, tests, and lectures. After participating every day in discussion and paying close attention i received a 'D' for participation, while others who did not participate received B's. She clearly has her favorites and if she disagrees with a statement you make, she will chew your ass.

She isn't the easiest Professor, but she tells you that up front and doesn't make any bones about it. She is very helpful and straight forward. Very knowledgable about what she teaches.
