Work through assignments in class. His instructions can go by a little too quickly and you can get lost. One small group project.

The class itself and the material available in the textbook are valuable information to obtain. However, the professor does not teach the material. The assignments are rarely related to the chapter content and are usually very hard to follow as he tends to rush instructions. If you are going to take this course, take it from another professor.

This teacher teaches nothing. He will do an assignment in class and if you miss a single step good luck. Never miss a class or you will miss the entire start of an assignment.

One of the worst teachers on campus as UVU. Every class he just rambles about nothing for an hour and 15 mins and doesn't teach a single thing. His assignments should be easy, but all he wants you to do is jump through hoops and stay buried in busy work. Don't take any classes from this man.

Told great stories. Did basically all the assignments in class, so little to no homework. He clearly said if you can still pass, no need to come to class. Very understanding of his students. The class was very easy and I still learned a lot; that's a perfect combination! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!

This professor does not teach this class. It is an accounting class that is supposed to be a computer science class. One of the assignments was to do a cost projection analysis to see how profitable a business was. He also changes assignment requirements on the fly so to get full credit you have to come into class.

He is the worst teacher I have ever had, the class was easy because all of his assignments were step by step in class and all of the quizzes and tests (Including the Final) are open book. He also runs the class more like an accounting class than an INFO class. If you actually want to learn DON'T TAKE ANYTHING FROM ORMOND.

This was one of the most pointless classes I have ever taken. If you do not NEED this credit for your major stay away. I thought this would be a good intro to IT, I did not learn a single helpful thing. The main grades in the class come from assignments that the professor hand feeds you steps, so you just mindlessly copy what he does, learn nothing

He is a great guy. He is funny and has a very outgoing personality. However, he is a HORRIBLE teacher. When he explains things, he pretty much loses everyone in the class. He does assignments in class, but at 200 mph, so if you miss any of class, you are behind and it is very difficult to catch up.

All of his assignments are done in class. However, he goes through them so quickly- I didn't retain any of the information. He's 70 years old and it seemed like he didn't really care about class- might be time to retire. Quizzes are easy IF you read the text book. He's also a super meticulous grader. If you actually want to learn, don't take him.

He FLIES through complicated assignments and 15 minutes after class is supposed to be over he asks where he lost everyone. If you miss more than a day it will be really difficult to get caught up. He gives a due date to make a plan with your advisor and doesn't care if they're completely booked. You don't really learn anything from the class.

I don't really warn students of teachers unless it is much needed. This is my first one and I have had several. I learned next to nothing struggling to copy and keep up with the nonsense he is jabbering up front with no time to actually learn anything. If you are good at keeping up with nonsense, he is the teacher for you.

He was a great teacher, really engaged and enthusiastic and sort of funny. The outline of the class and assignments are REALLY confusing, BUT he's there after class everyday to answer questions and can explain it, YOU JUST HAVE TO ASK! and I think he does that on purpose to get people out of their shells.

Attendance isn't necessarily mandatory, but you will get a much better grade if you go to class because for those in class he makes the assignments much easier. Doesn't really teach anything that you are quizzed on, and expects you do do all of that.

This is a tough class, but taking it from Ormond made it infinitely worse. He gives a lot of homework including weekly papers, weekly tests, weekly assignments, finding guest speakers, job shadowing people, and giving plenty of presentations in class. It is difficult to keep up with him in class. I never missed a day, but still felt very behind.

Lectures are non-existent; if they happen, they are glazed over and provide no help to make chapter material click with the student. Class time is spent by giving personal and other non-related stories to the course and by doing assignments in class. Class and homework syllabi are confusing and instructions given in class contradict syllabi.

Pat is a great man. Sadly he is not a good teacher. He is so confusing in his requirements for assignments that you leave the class not knowing up from down. GO TO CLASS. If you do he'll go over most of the assignments word for word but will somehow still confuse you in the process. Youll pass the class easily, just learn to laugh at his craziness!

He is very nice and you can tell he is passionate about teaching. He does try to help you out if you come to him and ask for it. He is pretty spacey and fast when he talks about assignments. So hard to follow a lot of the time and assignment rules are often unclear because it is changed so often. If you don't come to class every time you will fail

He was a bit confusing describing assignments. Has some hard outside of class requirements but felt they really helped to introduce students to the work force. Also, bringing in outside lecturers was a great addition to the class.
