Really liked her and the family course taught. She will put in the effort to teach you if you are willing to learn. She makes you think outside the box. don't have any other classes with her but i recommend it instead of intro to psych. her papers are straight forward; grammar is more important than content at times.

I have mixed feelings about Prof Romney. I enjoyed her class and learned a lot. As the semester went on, her grading became tougher tougher, which isn't a bad thing but I feel like she values proper grammar more than content. Still, I would recommend the class.

Despite all the negative comments, I took the class. She has made improvement to that class and it is really interesting, especially if you do have some concerns about your family. She is also very helpful outside of class.

Pat is not for everyone, there were people in my class who hated her personally I loved her and think she is a great prof. She works very hard with individual students and if you give her a lot to work with you will gain a lot. If you sleep through her classes she is not going to lend you an extra hand.

AWFUL! This class is not for anyone who has had ANY experience Racism. The readings suck overall and lecture is usually very dull. Only bonus...easy to schedule since it only meets once a week. I'm not sure it's worth it though.

She is an amazing woman and a superb teacher. She cares a lot about her students and it shows. Definitely take a class with her. She makes you work hard, but you learn so much about yourself.

Intuitive, well informed, well structured classes. She brought a lot of intellect and humanity to individuals, and in the end to the group. Always available after class for students, encouraged group work, facilitated personal growth for all.
