Professor Boling was extremely helpful and involved in our class. She was always willing to meet with student. We disagreed on almost everything politically but she listened to me and respected my opinions. I enjoyed her class thoroughly.

I did not like this class, though I expected to. Some days Prof. Boling would have an engaging discussion that challenged your viewpoints, and that was great. Most days were spent forcing people to talk who did not do the reading and had no idea what they were talking about. I'd prefer listening to a scholar since I paid a lot of money to attend

I went into the class not knowing what to expect and came out very glad I had taken it. Prof. Boling can be scary in class, but she is extremely helpful and is very much concerned with students' grades. She wants everyone to develop critical thinking skills, and she will often make you argue opposing views. Attendance is a must for this class.

As long as you go to class and do the reading, you'll be fine. She is biased but like all the other posts have said, she's open to all viewpoints. In fact, she actually forced people to argue an unpopular position just for the hell of it. Awesome prof.

Great teacher, and bark is for sure worse than her bite. Her Socratic method can be intimidating, but when it comes to tests and quizzes, it's all very straight forward if you went to class, and did the reading. Really knows her stuff and cares about her students grades.

Great Teacher, very very respectful of all viewpointsm but challenges you to think and consider all opposing viewpoints. The class is very engaging, interactive, and interesting. Very interesting, but a lot of reading of Supreme Court case briefs that you need to read to keep up.

I think I hear the Wambulance! She's a great professor who gets EVERYONE involved and makes things interesting by starting discussions between people with different viewpoints. She is a tad biased--I won't deny that--but a string of garlic won't be necessary. As long as you go in knowing she's a feminist--you'll be fine
