Very nice and very energetic, she always wants people to participate in her lectures. Not a lot of homework for this class, but try to pay attention to the specific things she says and take notes because they're not always on the board. Tests are super easy if you take good notes.

Very passionate about theology! Be sure to do the readings because if you don't she will probably call you out. Tough grader, but never any surprises. Take good notes, do the readings, and participate! Not an easy A, but if you work for it, you'll definitely get the grade.

She's a good teacher just a little too passionate about theology. theres a paper about every 2 weeks or so and about 3 exams. Class was pretty easy but I still wouldn't take again, it was very boring.

You will learn a lot in this class. There are readings for homework after every class due for the next. The classes were spent talking and analyzing the readings. There were fou 3 to 5 page writing assignments about what was talked about in class. The midterm and final were a bit hard. Actually take time to study and you should fine. lots of vocab.

I went into this class not having much knowledge about the Christian religion, but professor Leonard taught me a lot. In my opinion, she is a great teacher and knows what she's doing. Participate, do your work, and pay attention in class and you'll be fine. Idk why she has bad reviews. She tells u exactly whats going to be on the midterm & final

Will randomly call you if you don't participate. Thinks Theology matters more than what you're studying. The material itself is very boring, and there's a 3 page paper every 2 weeks. Tough grader as well. Try and get on her good side, if she catches you zoning out she will call you out. Stay away if you can, I personally wouldn't take her again.

She's not bad. Her papers are basically just summaries of her notes. Just say what she wants to hear and you'll get an A. Be on time and participate!

Took her class in Spring '17. She's good at what she does, definitely open for questions and debate. She's super encouraging when having discussions in class and really wants you to learn the basis of Christianity. Take notes (her slides go up on Blackboard as soon as class is over). She gives you all the reading material.

Prof. Leonard has everything clearly outlined in her syllabus so there are no surprises. The homework is a lot of reading and she discusses it during class and participation matters A LOT. She is super sweet and funny. She gives 4 3 page papers and an easy midterm and semi-hard final.

Her classes are interesting; however, she does not allow students to go against her opinion. Must be on time for every class (7:30 AM)! Very tough grader for her writing assignments. Does not have a lot of time for office hours. Difficult final.

DO NOT take her she's terrible teacher who has a problem with anyone who speaks their own opinion. She's extremely liberal and drowns you with her views on government which to me is disgusting. Im in a Theology class and i have to worry about saying anything that i believe in because she constantly judges you. never take her class she's terrible.

This class is very set in stone before even showing up. If you think you are going to have your own opinion and still receive good grades at the same time this is not the class for you. I would not recommend this class first. Definitely look around first.

You definitely have to put in the work to receive a good grade but she knows her stuff. There are about 5 three pages writing assignments, which reflect the readings, a 6 pages research paper, a midterm and a final. It seems like a lot but if you take notes and actually pay attention, you'll do great. Participation and attendance matter!!!!!

The class was great. Pay attention to her lectures also, the class discussions really help. She uploads the class slides after lecturers. Just do the readings, pay attentions and your good to go. Her class grading system is pretty straight forward. Would definitely take her again.

Make sure you do the readings, maybe I would have done better if I had and don't wait til last minute to complete the assignments online. Very untrusting - if you take your laptop to class odds are she will check up to make sure youre only using it to take notes and you might even be accused of looking up the answer to her question on google.

She is actually a VERY good professor. She knows her stuff and likes everyone to participate. If you slack, it will be shown in your grades. Put in the necessary work and you'll get a good grade. ALWAYS read for hw. entire class based on one book.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. SHE IS A HORRIBLE TEACHER. SHE MAKES EVERYONE PARTICIPATE AND WILL PUT YOU ON BLAST IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. HATED TAKING THIS CLASS AT 7:30 IN THE MORNING. I WANTED TO GO TO SLEEP EVERYDAY IN THAT CLASS. IF YOU EXPECT TO GET AN A THEN, YOUR EXPECTATIONS ARE TOO HIGH FOR HER CLASS.

Hardest teacher I've had this semester, but she knows her stuff. Wouldn't take her if you're a slacker. Lots of work too. Six page research paper. Midterm and final. She's clear about what she wants though. Just pay attention and participate in class and you shouldn't get less than a B.
