Terrible teacher when it comes to grading. If you miss one of the key words in an explanation she counts the entire question wrong. Would not recommend taking ever.

Terrible professor, does not know at all how to teach a class and makes me resent learning the information. Other department staff are very helpful and get across information very well while Owen throws out piles of useless information on her slides expecting you to get everything down while literally yelling at you to stop writing and look at her.

Dr. Owen is awesome. I loved her Physic class. Although, she is tough. Don't expect to earn an easy A. She makes you work for it. I loved her class and enjoy going. Her lectures are interesting. But I am having trouble with the class. But I would not blame her. I study and everything. I do well on her quizzes but her tests are just tough. Beware.

Her classes are difficult in that there is a lot to memorize. Unfortunately, it's all rote memorization, and the content you read isn't exactly up to date with the times. You'll learn this after you graduate and find work in a relevant field. So while getting a good grade indicates that you really did work hard, it's not exactly applicable info.

Dr. Owen is very funny & entertaining. Her mneumonics help out a lot, mainly because they are so ridiculous. I was really nervous my first day of physio & expected it to be horrible based on stories i heard but the class isn't that hard. Just read the book- thats where the quizzes come from. Stop spazzing out, & give the class & Dr. Owen a chance

She was the craziest teacher that I had but in a fun way. I took intro as a senior. The text was basic and easy and so was the grade which was based on the text. Some students still struggled; perhaps they didn't read the text? It was usually a relaxing and interesting class. The TA added spice to the class and actually did better as time went on:)

I love her. I did have trouble in her class but she gave very useful information and I thought her test reflected the book and lectures. She does expect comprehension. Instead of giving the minimal you must expand and explain.

Had her for physio, id literally put verbatim what she gave us in our notes and only get half credit. if i asked a question she'd be demeaning and make me feel stupid and id be embarrassed i asked. Wouldnt recommend her if you can avoid her. I love challanging teachers (ZC is my fav) but she just left me feeling stupid and isnt very helpful

Emphasizes on to much favortism. She chooses her favs & sticks to them. Very rude. Tries to give tips in class to help remember, but you must double check with the book. If she says it diff from the book & u use her mnemonics on the test & get it wrong, she won't care even though she's the one you gave u the tip. Avoid her! Not helpful.

Dr. Owen is a pretty unhappy and standoffish person. Although she is not always helpful, her class is usually interesting. She moves very quickly through her lectures.
