If you've bought the book for this class and are assigned this professor. You are better off not going to class and teaching yourself though the book. She will teach you the most complicated and confusing ways to solve any problem. She demands you do the work her way and will fail you if you don't. Math is universal, avoid at all cost.

I really liked Mrs. Parkison. She was very nice and did a good job of explaining things again to students if they didn't understand the first time. She curves the crap out of the tests, so that's good too. I'm horrible at math and I got an 89%, definitely take her class if you can.

I agree this professor is not very lenient at all but she actually cares about her students learning the material instead of just trying to pass them. With her help I've taken a lot of helpful math techniques with me.

If you want to teach yourself math then take Math 108. All she does in class is like three examples and then the tests are 10 times harder. If you have ever struggled with math then you will fail this class. Really nice lady but awful teacher

TAKE HER FOR MATH 108. SHE MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER! i took this class last year with another prof and failed and then with her and she teaches it really well! super nice and has like open office hours. just go to class every day and take notes. study for quizzes and tests and do the assignments well. i DEFINITELY suggest her class.

Very Nice teacher, but nice doesnt equal good in-class teaching ability. Will make you explain your answer with key terms. Expects you to already know the material. Calls on random people making an uncomfortable situation. Cell phone out=get kicked out. No preextensive math knowledge=No Pass. More than willing to privately help you if you schedule.

She is one of the nicest professors I have had at BSU. The class material is boring, but she tries to help as much as she can. There are a lot of quizzes and homework grades, so make sure you keep up with what is going on in class.

Not the best teacher. If the work wasn't so simple I would have been lost. She is helpful sometimes but not always. Whole class failed the 3rd test and she didn't seem to realize that it must have been something that she was doing. Made us retake it and didn't make office hours available. That wasn't helpful. Grades homework hard but takes 2 off.

Class was like a review so it seemed easy. If i didn't know most of it already I probably wouldn't have done very good. She does not explain clearly at all but she is always willing to help when you don't understand. She relies on her office hours a lot and gives homework on random stuff. Tests are worth a lot more than homework too. Very nice lady

SHE REALLY REALLY CARES. I LOVED her. Her class was a bit difficult and she was sometimes unclear but she really really wants her students to succeed. I definitely recommend her to ANYONE! Great teacher!

Very hard teacher is not leanient at all when it comes to grades. Way too much work and asks a lot of you. Have to show how and why you got every answer which gets hard. If you miss one day and theres a test or quiz regardless of excused or not you get a 0. Failed miserably and I met up to study with a friend every night to do homework. NIGHTMARE

She has definitely changed how the course is taught. I would suggest taking her because she is more than willing to help you in and out of class. Get a group of people together from your class and study together it helps. There is a lot of content in the class which is what makes it hard. She is AWESOME though!! Gives extra credit :) Great prof!!

Such a great teacher. Nice, friendly, and very helpful. Couldn't of asked for a better professor. You don't use a book for 108, only the online key is needed. Will spend all day helping you if you needed it. Really glad I had her.
