She's a great teacher with interesting things to teach every class meeting (: I didn't open the textbook more than once. you don't really need it. Just remember her lectures and the notes you buy from the book store. you'll do well in this class! only 3 tests, no final, 2 presentations (not hard at all, but definitely cool). She's a fun prof. I dreaded communication for three years and finally had to take this class my last semester, and I don't regret it. Anyone needing communication, take Pollack. Only two speeches. She explains everything clearly and the tests are easy. Don't wait till your last semester like I did, take it and you will be relieved.

I was so nervous to take this class, and I waited until my last semester at SWC, but Mrs Pollack really made it easy. Sometimes I felt she made the classroom feel like a hostile situation when nobody answers her questions, but I enjoyed her tips to keeping a good love relationship. Also, she has valid points about males and their aggression.

pollack is an easy teacher. i was absent a lot, and still got a B. if she's not happy with your speech topic, she will be rude about it and stare at you so you will change your mind, but DONT GIVE IN! it's your speech, YOU pick the topic! if you dont agree with her, shes rude. But its not always about her opinion. otherwise, its an easy A.

Pollack's class was VERY easy and she's an easy grader. Her lectures are easy to understand and the test questions are very straightforward. Only 2 presentations! 1 individual, 1 group. Don't complain. If you want more presentations, take another teacher or take public speaking instead. EXCELLENT teacher overall! Highly recommended.

Comm 104, Public Speaking. -- Good teacher, easy class. Little stricter then youd think though. Just do your speechs well and youre good. Few tests are worth much less then the speechs + tests are common sense. Self intro speech, how to speech, persuasive speech, impromptu speech. Got an A. Take her and this class!

I'm not sure, but I think it was 103 that she taught. Anyways, besides the fact that this IS an easy class, don't be retarded like me and half my class and skip classes.
