He is a very nice guy who means well but is a terrible teacher. Avoid taking him at all costs. I'm a bio student and I had a 4.0 before this class -- his tests are ridiculous. It's not hard he is just so, so confusing and clueless.

This man is the worst teacher I have ever had. I got and 84 on the test which was the highest grade in all his classes and he doesn't scale! The best you can do in this class if you are there everyday and read and study is a B/C. Avoid this professor.

I liked the class overall; taking this course with him actually made me buy the al gore movie and watch it on my own (worthwhile movie). A nice man, but very demanding and old-school. Exams are hard (over 90 questions), but if you have interest in the topic and you're willing to put in a lot of study time, you'll do well. For 3 hours of class per week he expects you to study at least 12 hours at home (quote). And: if you're republican, keep your political opinion to yourself.

Very good teacher to have, the only thing is his exams are difficult, if you study the online quizes then you can pass with flying colors, he uses the same questions on exams. I took two classes with him because hes a brilliant man and so nice. REALLY GREAT TEACHER!

Worst teacher I have ever had!!! His powerpoints are useless because he gives you like 2 seconds to write down notes, and his tests are bogus. So boring I fall asleep everyday I am there. My advice, don't take this course or fire him!! And I love his sexy moon boots he wears-raawwwwrrr!!
