I received an A in the class because I did all of the assignments. All of the assignments are redundant and tedious but common sense can be applied. An extraordinary amount of these assignments-3-5 papers/ week. Not that accessible through e-mails or office. Just get the work done and you will be fine. If you are a senior try to avoid.

I'm indifferent about this course partly because I did well in it, under extreme circumstances. The people who complain, just do not want to do a lot of work. There are a lot of assignments, but he is lenient grader. I never got the textbook and still pulled off an A. Most of it is opinion base, just try and be insightful :-)

Ridiculous amount of work with no feedback. No concept of how to conduct distance learning. Scattered disorganized method of assignments - there is no way to plan your workload. Recommend to stay away. Someone should tell him that he would be better off if we understood what he wanted.

NEVER TAKE HIS ONLINE COURSE. The assignments are too time consuming and redundant. Gives no feedback, no grades, no nothing. Posts assignments up to do 2 days before he wants it due, and its LENGTHY!!! The worst prof I've ever taken and I'm a senior. I greatly regret taking this class with him.

The class isn't that hard but he gives a LOT of homework! They're usually two page assignments & book work but he gives a lot so it adds up. The classes are decent- sometimes interesting, sometimes boring but he covers the material well & prepares you for the quizzes and tests. You just have to do your part and study. It's straight memorization.

By far the worst class at St Johns. Do not take at any cost, drop school before you take this class. So far there have been 15 papers, 3 exams, volunteer service, portfolio assignment, group project, an assignment due after the final, does not care for other classes, HOLDS CLASS FULL TIME everyweek, no break gets annoyed when you go to the bathroom

this teacher is impossible..every week theres an essay plus a 6 chapter book test and on top of that VOLUNTEER he thinks that we have time for this BS class and we dont espcially for science majors. dont take him unless u like to work and write essays

Don't take him unless you love theology. He does. He expects you too as well. He doesnt understand that for science majors, this class is not worth the time that real classes are worth, like organic chemistry. He keeps you in class for 3 hours, and he lies about what will be on tests. Stay away.

Very good at Teaching. I like his method. He raised my interest level about theology. Be warned it is a lot of course work but the class it's self is designed to help you get a good grade. Remember Midterm and finals aren't worth more than papers he gives
