Lectures are extremely incoherent and nearly nonsensical. Often consist of only images supplemented with personal stories, with maybe one or two things he expects you to pick out. While the class itself was easy Professor McNaughton did not structure his lectures in a helpful manner, and he should be avoided if this is something you'd find irksome

Easy A! just go to discussion, 25% of grade is discussion attendance. No need to go to lectures. The review is literally going over the test. The 1 paper is easy. Teacher is very helpful and knowledgeable and loves teaching!!!!

Extremely enthusiastic and a wonderful professor. I discovered my passion for African Art because of this class and this professor. But believe me, you HAVE TO DO YOUR KEY IDEAS JOURNALS. Don't put them off, and yes the drafts are very important. Trust me, you forget your journals and you're screwed. Do the drafts and the final one will be fine.

A few tacos short of a combination plate, but I'm in my junior year and still consider him the best professor I've had in college so far. His enthusiasm is contagious, the class is really interesting and I really looked forward to going every day. Just do your journals and the class is cake.
