During my orientation in 2008, I remember a guy telling me, "You should take psych with Patrick Saxe." I not only took Intro Psych but Psych of Adjustment the following semester. Hilarious guy--every class was tons of fun. One day he actually brought in both his kids. It looks like he no longer teaches but he should. He was also my advisor.

When I was at New Paltz Patrick was the Teacher Assistant for my professor. The class was very hard but he made the meaterial much easier to understand. He taught the material better than my professor. If this was the same teacher...he used to tell a lot of stories about his family, had a crush on Demi Moore. He was very cute!Crushing on him!

So i took intro to Psych with this guy...and three things to say: Doesnt take attendance so you dont have to go, Talks about his family nonstop and doesnt teach, and lastly READ the book to pass the three tests for the semester.... Only take this class if you want an Easy A and dont feel like learning much....enough said.

Bad professor! Is unreliable and ineffective. Is terrible at responding to e-mails, often times misses class with no explanation beforehand, gives only a letter grade on papers, and lectures on his family life for the whole class. Is a funny and genuinely nice guy, though. FYI, he doesn't take attendance.

SO EASY! Never takes attendance, never really teaches, just study the review sheets and you'll do well. Don't bother showing up to class unless you want to hear about his wife and kids for an hour and 15 minutes. He's a really cool guy though, I overslept and missed a test and he let me make it up no questions asked. Very easy.

Sax is a great person. But i honestly didn't learn much in his class. We never took notes in class, we pretty much listen to his life stories. He is a really funny guy, always made me laugh. You honestly don't even need to go to class, JUST READ THE BOOK!!!! His class consists of 3 tests, thats it! Seriously, if you read the book you will be fine.

such a joke. easy A if you do a decent job on the only 3 assignments of the entire semester. dont bother buying the book. very open-ended and some of the class discussions were just ridiculous. kinda wished i actually learned more. not necessary to go to class. dont take it for granted though and make somewhat of an effort on the 3 easy papers.

Extremely easy teacher, doesn't take attend and give you an outline for the tests. As long as you follow the outines you will def get an A!! Hes also extremely entertaining and funny! Def recommend his class!
