Great teacher, She was very understanding when I missed a few tests online due to medical issues and I was able to retake them. Just read the book and the class should be a breeze. I am not very smart and I am out of all people passing this class!

Comment:

Patti Serrrano is one of the best teachers you will have at Clark next to Mr. Kraley. She is extremely helpful, her lectures are interesting and well detailed. Yes the tests aren't easy but I still got all A's. She is creative and you will actually learn new things in this course. There is homework and a few tests but she's organized .

The online class has very clear objectives and standards. Log on a couple times a week to add a single comment in the discussion page, take tests once a week (if you do them on Saturdays you can get two weeks worth at a time), material is almost entirely from the book and the rest can be google'd. The book is heavy on marketing and thin on finance.

Great professor! Lectures aren't too interesting. USE THE STUDY GUIDES SHE GIVES. About 4 exams and everything from study guides is one them. A few group assignments that are super easy. Also a few individual take home assignments that also aren't difficult.

Great professor. If you use her note outlines and the textbook, and use that to study from, you'll do great on exams. Exams are t/f, multiple choice and a few essay questions which she tells you what they are during class. Also a few in class group activities and outside of class assignments. Great intro to business class!

Wish I could say I had the same experience as most. She bore me, it was hard to retain most the information she gave. Her teaching style was very old fashioned, and I just didn't care for it. She's insightful and very knowledgeable, and I'm assuming helpful since she's so kind I just didn't fancy the class whatsoever.

The course work uses the textbook and handouts. Need to attend lecture to be able to accurately complete the handouts for each chapter. Tests are pretty easy if you've read the book, done the handouts and attended class. Loved the lectures she makes the class really interesting.

Patti is one of the best teachers I have ever had at Clark. She makes you want to come to class because she is always so positive and funny. Her courses are kind of book heavy, but if you read and keep on the ball you will be fine. I wish she taught more classes because she is great!

During her class I realized what it REALLY takes to run a small business and she gives you plenty of information regarding that. If you sit in the back like I did her hand writing is hard to see and she uses big white poster paper to write on instead of using the whiteboard. She is proud of her culture and expresses that in class.
