If you read before and prepare for the class, take notes and listen to lectures it is an easy A! I found the class highly interesting but came in with little knowledge of female mutilation and other cultural beliefs. If your interested in cultures, this is a great class to help fulfil your Sociology requirement!

I've heard people say they hate this class and she's so boring but I thought the material was sooo interesting. I learned a lot. One of my favorite classes. Reasonable amount of work and she grades fairly.

lots of reading and papers, will let you do re-writes for improved grades. quizs weekly but she tells you whats on them. GOOD CLASS I learned alot

Boring teacher, a lot of tests to test the material but no final or midterm. Just papers. The material is also very interesting. I recommend it.
