May not be the best lecturer, but is a very nice person. he chooses to stay at Cal instead of going to private univs that have offered higher salary because he enjoys teaching students many of whom are the first person in their families to attend colleges

He will put you right to sleep...so boring. Writes everything on the chalkboard so slowly. Pretty clear and understandable if you can stay awake. Tests are moderately hard but fair. Seems like a nice guy.

The most useless teacher i have ever had in my entire life....no exaggeration....he is not clear...mundane...definitely not hot...and turned me off from chemistry. NEVER TAKE A CLASS GIVEN BY HIM!
