Comment:
Would not recommend this professor. Lecture content is very vague and hardly prepares you for the assessments ahead. Does not follow the textbook. Prepared well in advanced for assessments (with graphs and notes provided) and still unable to establish a link between course content and assessment questions. Questions posed are extremely ambiguous.

I have taken Paul Anglin twice over my undergrad and he has been one of the worst professors I have experienced. He is incredibly vague across all lectures and provides very little useful information. In assignments and midterms he expects students to read his mind in order to provide the correct answer. If you have an option don't take him.

Probably the worst prof I've had in University so far. His lectures are extremely boring and he rambles on about things that don't matter, and then when something matters he flies through it. He is extremely arrogant and acts like he is above everyone, including guest speakers. If you don't have to take him DON'T

Looking for clear feedback and a structured grading scheme? It's not here. Can be helpful outside of class but tends to veer off topic and leave some things open ended during lecture. Looks for key phrases and references back to class when grading assignments; that's about the only clear marking criteria. Nice enough outside of class.

I've had him for 3 courses. I absolutely do not agree with all of the negative comments that are posted of him. I found him very fair. He's the type of prof that would still give you a lot of marks even if the general answer is wrong but it is fully explained using points from his lectures. Don't buy the text book and go to class and you'll do well

Although his course names are called urban economics, property management, or market analysis, the real course he teaches is: the art of confusion. In that respect, Paul Anglin is a master, the Yoda of making simple concepts incredibly confusing. Good luck. Also, don't buy the textbook he will never use it in any of his courses.

Confusing instructions, evasive answers, talks down to students, the list goes on... He will test you on things he has never taught, with the rational that you should already know it from previous classes. So... dig deep, what did you learn 2-3 semester ago? Don't recall? tough luck, he is not going to go over it. Also, the textbook is useless.

It is an embarrassment that he is part of the Housing and Real Estate program. Get ready for some hypocrisy, as he will demand pin point clarity and detailed explanation, while pointing you in ten different directions with no guidance. Every. Single. Lecture has been completely useless, filled with vague repetitive opinions that do not help.

Comment:
This professor is absolutely ridiculous. He constantly reminds you to "explain yourself better" in group projects, and grades them as such. However, he himself does not display this behaviour of clarity. He is extremely vague and demeans you as being a student, thinking you're thoughts are insignificant and "silly". Do not recommend this teacher.

I honestly do not think he is all there mentally, he rambles like no tomorrow. In an hour and 20 minute class realize he could have said all of that in 10 minutes. His marking is VERY ANAL. The course is 75% case studies and 25% final, so his useless classes are not even worth going to, because they do not help with the assignments.

I honestly dont think he is all there mentally. He thinks all his students are stupid, but the guest speakers are good, and they have no problem laughing at the profs stupid comments. In class he asked a guest speaker how he could teach common sense to students who dont posses at much as he does. The guest speaker laughed in his face.

Mr. Paul's teaching style is unique. He has been more than glad to help you to build up a strategic and tactical thinking framework . I believe that giving minds a compass so that knowledge doesn't go to waste is much more important than filling a bucket with data and formulas. Have the utmost respect for his time and him.

The only thing this guy has put any effort into is his 70 page document outlining what 'type' of answers he'll accept. Unorganized, seemingly confused about how to explain concepts beyond telling you 'how it is' and moving on. You can tell he has no idea what he's talking about when he goes quiet and changes to the next topic. Unprepared. Don't

Fairly clear. Looked enough like John Waters that I could never stay mad at him. Willing to be very helpful at times. Group work. I found the final exam expectations oddly confusing, but that may have just been me. Has maybe more interest in real estate than I could ever fake.

This prof is by far the worst prof in Ontario. His classes are pointless which coincides with his useless analogies. The guys handwriting and diagrams are messier than my 4 year old cousins. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you ever do take his class, ask him a question about the Maple Leafs and their star player "PK Svetson"

Anglin's teaching style is unique. At first you are lost, by the 3rd or 4th class you get the hang of it- almost like he is a philosophy prof. think out of the box and you will do well. but add meaning by using examples from the textbook required and dig in with your own thoughts. He looks for you to take something away from his ideas- USE THEM

At first I hated this guy. But then I warmed up to his teaching and lecture style. He encourages thought and concept building which a lot of my other profs do not do. It is a hard class and effort is needed to do well in it and he does a good job in teaching the material.

This prof. is one of the worst professors I have had at the university. He answers questions with questions. His lectures are stupid and have no importance/relevance to the course material. He has poor marking schemes for assignments and midterms. His exams do not have exact answers... possibly the most retarded thing ever! His teaching skills POOR
