This is how cool Doc is - in order to not fail me for never showing up to jazz improv, he created a class for me to take the following semester, which consisted of intense individual instruction in all the things that i feared enough to skip jazz improv - bass lines, solos, theory, improv - now I have no fear, mad chops, and no F on my record!

This guy is such an amazing man. He knows music so well. He knows Nora Jones, how sweet is that??! The class wasnt too hard, and for the most part very interesting and i learned a lot. he rocks it out in jazz band too! i hope i am that ripped at his age.

I love band, and was psyched to find a small Catholic school that actually had a band of its own. I've enjoyed my band experience and plan to stay in it all 5 years I'm here. What's great about Doc is that he doesn't get bent out of shape about anything
