Paul Chambers has probably been the best professor I have ever had. He is very clear of what is expected of you and he makes sure there are a lot of resources available to you for studying. He does a good job of explaining complex topics very easily.

Paul Chambers is actually one of the best professors I've ever had. He goes over everything that will be on the test in class and has additional reviews and study guides available for every exam/topic since day 1! He always gives notice for exams 2 weeks in advance. Anyone who didn't like Paul Chamber's class didn't want to show up.

He is a very straight forward professor. If you want to pass the class you need to show up and pay attention. He tells you everything you need to know for the test. Test are all multiple choice. Only 3 test, one final, and 10 hw assignments. Although attendance isn't mandatory, he locks the doors 9 minutes after class starts soDon't show up late.

It's a boring class, and a more boring teacher. I stopped showing up because I kept falling asleep, what was the point. He doesn't care about your name. Your just numbers to him. He gives SO MANY RESOURCES and none of them were helpful for his tests. Take this class online, it's a joke!

Made the course material interesting and understandable. While he may be a bit stiff in lower level classes, he's much more personable and friendly when teaching an upper level course. While he didn't take points off for attendance, he did do random in-class extra credit attempts for those who showed up.

The worst professor in the history of education. Arrogant teacher , he should find another profession because lecturing students is not his thing.

To do well you need to show up to class. Does not take attendance but uses lecture examples in tests. If you show up and take good notes you will pass.

He shows no respect for his students and isn't even a good teacher. I loved macro last semester with another teacher, so I was excited for this class but chambers ruined that. He locks the door at the start of class, and says it's a life lesson if kids show up late and are locked out. He randomly throws in weird examples that dont apply to lectures

It doesn't help that Chamber is pretty much all business from the opening shot, trading in Stone's sometimes-clunky exposition for full-steam-ahead action.

Dr. Chambers doesn't seem to care about his students. He constantly states during class that he doesn't care if you come to class or not because he is getting paid anyway. If you don't answer a question in class he threatens to make the tests harder. He is not very approachable and makes you feel like an idiot if you do not understand something.

Dr. Paul Chambers is the worst professor. He asks questions from his previous lecture and when students do not answer he tells them he is just going to make the test questions harder. In class he constantly brags about his D's, F's, and Withdraws. He also loves to brag about how much the university is paying him. I would never take him again.

He is very unapproachable and I did not feel like I could go to him for anything. In class if no one would answer a question, he would tell us he was going to make the test harder every time someone didn't answer. If you are going to be over 5 minutes late, he will shut the door and not open it. He also never responded to my emails. DO NOT TAKE!

Course was difficult at times but overall was not terrible and i enjoyed the class a lot. Make sure to keep up with problem sets and notes her gives you in class, they will help you with studying for the tests and such. He does expect you to participate in class and do your work to make sure you keep up with the pace. Very interesting class.

Had him for principles of micro, and intermediate macro. Very strict, gets nicer after the drop date. Pay attention, read the book, he doesn't really use it. Tests were multiple choice. In Intermeiate we had analytical take home portions. Speak up in class, DO NOT USE PHONE IN CLASS, he will drop you a letter grade at the end of the semester.

He is a very unkind and unapproachable individual. He seems to be intelligent, but he calls himself stupid all the time in class. What kind of professor does that? In addition, he gives WAY too much information for one sitting. Not to mention, half of it doesn't mean anything. I really, really wish that the class was not a requirement for my major.

Chambers is a very very smart person, almost too smart. If you think he's mean just stick with it, after the drop date he gets much nicer and don't be afraid to ask him for help, he will probably make you feel dumb but if you keep asking him for help he will give it

He came across as arrogant at the beginning of the semester, so the class was not fun. He becomes a lot nicer as class progresses, more helpful and humane. His tests and homework problems are not easy but the class gets better because he becomes nice towards the end of the class and helps a lot. See him in his office for help. that makes a big diff

I hated this class with a passion. He is very unapproachable and doesn't ever seem to be in a good mood. He's very smart and knows what he is talking about but he is "scary".
