Had him for Modern Elementary Math I. He comes across as being mean, but is very passionate about what he does. Gives you a lot of life lessons during class and is very nice. Tutors help out a lot and he is willing to help you if you put in the time yourself. Doing the homework problems helps a lot too so you can ask questions in class.

Only D I've ever gotten in my life. I don't care that you biked to DC with the governor or rode your bike to school from Altoona. I can't believe I was stuck taking his class TWICE. The only semi-positive thing I took away from his class was his lecture on functions using f(cow) or f(santa) instead of f(x). Good one Paul.

wow. this class was a nightmare you couldn't wake up from. terrible teacher with no idea how to really teach - excellent at telling you for a half hour why math is important though...see, that's great and all, but how about we actually learn the subject instead of learn why we need to learn
