I honestly felt like I could have done this class online. I basically taught myself everything, and I'm not terribly good at stats. I worked hard to get what I did, and if he had held to his word about a grade discrepancy I would have done even better. He's a really great guy, but not so much a great professor.

Prof Finn does like to use his personal experience to teach with but in all honesty now that I am out in the field those are what I remember most. I was talking to one of my Group home residents the other day and used the pen story :) He is an amazing person, and he may not always be in his office BUT he is always reachable and on campus!

As a psych major i took many classes with Finn and saw him in the hallway everyday. He is a great guy and always willing to help you. Although he tells alot of personal stories they are all relevant in the end. He is very passionate about psych and teaching. He may show up to class late but its consistent so u always know u can be late as well :)

I had Finn for several classes. He is a great man, and a good soul. I will admit that he tends to tell a lot of stories, but he does teach well and makes classes interesting. He doesn't take himself too seriously, and he's a great teacher.
