I loved this class! His teaching is very straight forward and clear. His quizzes and tests are easy to study for and always exactly what you expect, unlike many professors at Stonehill. He is such a nice guy and very knowledgeable. He genuinely wants all his students to learn and do well.

I like his class, I don't know why the ratings are so low. I have learned more spanish this semester then I learned italian in 4 years of high school. His tests and quizzes are very easy and it's not a bad class. He's a nice guy and is very clear on what he wants.

Yes, He might be a bit old. But his methods are helpful. I was listening to my friend speak to her mother and I was able to understand most of their French. His joke are a bit corny, but he is very kind and the class is not that hard. I really do not understand how his rate is this low. I think he is a very good teacher.

He's such a great guy, and he's teaching me a lot so I have NO idea what everyone else is saying. He's really funny in that corny way, and I'm getting a lot out of it. Maybe some people just don't respond to verbal learning. There really isn't much work involved in the class but participation.

Poor Foucre. He is a nice, goofy old guy. He's been teaching at Stonehill a long time. His methods are old, but the grading seemed fairly straightforward, not that you are guaranteed to do well. You talk in class sparingly, he assigns a lot of busy work outside of class.

Very boring class. His lectures will put anyone to sleep. Really a nice guy though. Tests and quizzes are not overly difficult. Your grade basically consists of a test and quiz for each chapter. No oral exams. Is very clear about what is covered on tests, quizzes etc. Reviews HW in class.

I thought he was great, but I took 3 years of Spanish in high school mabe that's why it was easy. However I did wait to take the spanish until i was a sophomore at SC. TRUE - His analogies are corny at times, but he really is a nice guy.
