Paul is funny and smart, yet very confusing...not an easy class. He also missed several classes and was late almost everyday.

He must better than his rating indicates. He gets a bad wrap for teaching a difficult subject. He can't force people to understand, he can only help them. Paul goes over all the material covered on his exams and starts off each class asking if anyone needs help on the material. You must practice more problems than just the HW, it's a minimum.

Some days he was cool, some days he wasn't . . He could make you feel really dumb @ times, lol, but overall I didn't think he was horrible! . . If you need help just ask, he will take the time to help you understand. And I don't think he's a difficult grader, I got an A in the class . . but i'm not sure how!

My first impression of Paul was "what an a__"! But after the second class he proved to be an excellent instructor. He will work one on one with you and make sure befor moving on that everyone has a clear understanding of the material. Paul made my re-entry into college an easy one, and I thank him for that.

HORRIBLE!! This is the worst teacher I have ever taken!! He is extremely unclear and disorganized. He grades very harshly and puts things on exams that we have not ever taught us. I am on the Deans List and did not even pass this class, so beware if you are not. If you want a class to retake in the future, take him!! He is arrogant and cocky.

Go to class and do all the homework and study for the test before hand and you should end up with a good grade. It all depends on how much time you spend .

Very tough class. Don't miss any classes. Ask for help early--from him NOT the math lab. He is very willing to help if you ask. He warns you up front that this class take alot of study time--believe it!

Explains easy stuff, then expects you to know hard stuff, leaves things out, doesn't answer questions well, mocks students for not already knowing what he is about to teach. Gets mad at class for not answering his questions when he should be teaching.

Paul was my first college teacher ever and I really enjoyed him. He's very laid-back about things and is very easy to talk to. I left his class early almost every day because I already knew Algebra from high school and he had no problem. Ask him questions if you are having difficulty, he'll help!

This is the worst professor at Grossmont. He only covered half of the material in the syllabus, meaning there were few points in the class. Would mock students in the class beacuse they did not understand. Easy class, bad teacher!!

This teacher was very tough at first. The key is to go to all the classes. The class became easier as it went on. If you are having problems talk to him. If you go to all the classes, you will have a better chance of passing.
